These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Renovare web application operated by Renovare("we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using Renovare, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
Eligibility and accounts
You must provide accurate registration information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or create risk for other users or the platform.
Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse Renovare, including by attempting unauthorized access, interfering with service operation, posting unlawful content, or using the platform to defraud others. You will comply with applicable laws when using projects, messaging, invoicing, and payment features.
Projects, messaging, and content
Renovare helps property owners and renovation professionals coordinate projects, share updates, and exchange messages. You retain ownership of content you submit, but grant us a limited license to host and display that content as needed to operate the service.
We do not guarantee the quality, licensing, or completion of work performed off-platform between users. Disputes about workmanship or scope remain primarily between the parties involved.
Payments overview
When online payments are enabled, card and ACH payments are processed by Stripe. The renovation professional connected to the invoice is the merchant of record for that payment. Renovare provides invoicing, payment links, and payment status tracking. We are not a bank, money transmitter, or escrow agent.
Renovaremay offer payout timing controls for certain billing flows (for example, deposit or change-order steps). Those controls affect when a provider's Stripe payout may be released. They are not legal escrow and do not create a regulated trust account or payment protection program.
Processing fees, settlement timing, disputes, and chargebacks are handled under Stripe's and the provider's applicable terms. Offline payments recorded in Renovare are informational only.
Third-party services
The service relies on third parties such as Stripe (payments), Supabase (authentication and data hosting), and email delivery providers. Your use of those features may also be subject to their terms.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
Renovareis provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the maximum extent permitted by law. We disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, except where liability cannot be excluded by law.
Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the revised version with a new effective date. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
